Nam prik is a kind of chile-based sauce or dip that can be found all over Thailand, while nam prik ong is a version from Northern Thailand made with dried chilies, ground pork and tomatoes. Seasoning Paste Fortunately nam prik ong is also really easy to make.

Ingredients :
Shallot, Tomato paste, Palm sugar, Refinded soybean oil, Salt, Garlic, Chilli, Tomato flakes, Shrimp paste (shrimp salt)

Preparation :
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. Add ground pork and content of this packet. Add water. Stir-fry with lower heat and let it simmer. Serve with fresh vegetables.
